Bulas
Historical records back to 1256 refer to the production of wine at the confluence of the rivers Ceira and Douro. It is in this environment of outstanding natural beauty (classified as World Heritage by UNESCO) that both Quinta da Foz Ceira and Quinta da Costa de Baixo produce wines combining quality and heritage.
Our wines are made in small batches as we seek to capture the unique character of the different vineyards and varieties. We use traditional techniques combined with the latest technological knowledge and innovations. This helps us achieve a continuous improvement in quality but in a sustainable way. By producing wines of exceptional quality, which capture the essence of the Douro, the Bulas family keeps the tradition and preserves the culture and heritage of this extraordinary and unique wine region.
