School of Port - The Relevance of Port in the 21st Century

Discover the wonders of port and the Douro, brought to you by the port-mad people at Symington Family Estates and Quevedo Wines. An educational initiative for wine professionals and wine lovers.

School of Port runs bespoke workshops for wine trade professionals, including people working in distribution, retail and bars/restaurants. These training sessions are delivered online or in person by a professional port wine educator. The wine lover or professional can learn about port and the Douro at their own pace using our online video series (The Essentials to start or The Masters for the more knowledgeable) hosted by our resident #portgeek Isabel Monteiro. 

Join us on this exciting journey and immerse yourself in the key topics about port, including: the history, terroir, sustainable initiatives, ageing process, serves, cocktails, pairings, storage, selling and much more! As well as tasting 8 wonderful wines, we will cover:
