Located a stone’s throw south of Lisbon, Península de Setúbal is a sizeable region, encompassing the peninsula itself to the north and a much larger corridor of land between the Atlantic Ocean and Alentejo. Península de Setúbal’s most famous wines - Moscatel de Setúbal and Moscatel Roxo de Setúbal – are exclusively sourced from the peninsula itself. Here, the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and rivers Tagus and Sado, different soils and topography – hills and plains - create the perfect conditions for growing these glorious fortified wines.
