Pereira d'Oliveira 1981 Verdelho. Medium-dry

A spirity very complex nose of forest fruits, dried apricots and hazelnuts on the palate. Very smooth refined and elegant

Lovely clear, deep golden tawny brown colour with amber to the rim.
Complex and pronounced nose of caramel, butterscotch, toffee and cinnamon.
Palate is full of acidity that balances the sweetness giving an off-dry effect. Apricots, spice notes, some wood and then a lemon note that gives a freshness and a very clean effect on the palate. Great balance, long finish, layers of complexity. This is a beautiful wine, more please!
