Around 30 years old. Mahogany and amber tones. Abundant and slow tearing. Serene and elegant with the optimum age for a Palo Cortado to express its personality.
I really enjoyed this example and shall be including it in an article on Palo cortado planned for the next month or two. I'm assuming it wasn't fined or filtered? I can't find it in the UK. could you confirm availability and price, please? I imagine given quality and rarity that it will be premium priced but I'd like to know for my readership. Thanks!
The Palo Cortado has been filtered through very small 3 micron pores. Doing that, our aim is to preserve a good mouth intensity.
Bodegas Mora-Figueroa Domecq does not currently have an agent in the UK but would be delighted to sell direct to consumers in the UK. A guide price for an ex-cellars bottle of the Palo Cortado is circa €105. Postage and UK duty / VAT would be payable in addition to the ex-cellars price. Stock is available for immediate despatch. Please email orders to jbonilla@indiessences.com.

Incredibly dry finish that demands cured meats I feel
Huge concentration and nutty smokiness on the palate. A drink to savour .
